Instagram now has the ability to post videos up to 60 seconds long. Previously, social network users could upload videos no longer than 15 seconds.

As noted in the company's blog, over the past six months, the amount of time users spend watching videos on Instagram has grown by 40%.
For a number of users, the new functionality became available on Tuesday, March 29, along with the 7.19 update for iOS. In the next few months, all subscribers of the service will be able to use this opportunity.
