It looks like Kanye West's long-awaited album The Life of Pablo will not be available to users of Apple's music streaming service. On Monday, February 15th, the rapper tweeted that the release will "never ever ever appear on Apple Music."
The musician also said that he does not intend to release The Life of Pablo on sale at all. The only way to enjoy West's new creation is to subscribe to Tidal, a streaming service owned by Jay Z and several other big names.
Despite his explosive nature, West is undoubtedly a driving force in the world of show business. The artist has 21 Grammy awards, 58 nominations and about 20 million Twitter followers. The decision to release The Life of Pablo exclusively for Tidal paid off, ranking # 1 on the App Store in terms of downloads.
Let's remind that earlier a similar situation developed with Taylor Swift, who refused to publish her album "1989" in Apple Music. The singer withdrew the release due to Apple's reluctance to pay royalties to musicians during the trial period of the service. However, the Cupertinians managed to settle the situation, and the album appeared on Apple Music.
