A rather interesting lot was put up for the eBay online auction - a working computer SOL-20. In total, these computers were produced 10 thousand units. The owner of the computer is an unnamed resident from Louisiana, USA. The device currently costs $ 1551.

Many may not be aware of the significance of SOL-20 in Apple's history. The fact is that this computer played an important role in the life of Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, while they were working on the Apple II. According to Walter Isaacson's book on Steve Jobs, in 1976 Jobs and Wozniak arrived at the first personal computer show with the intention of introducing the Apple I, which they had placed in a cigar box. Jobs walked around the showroom, and after examining all the exhibits, he was convinced that in terms of functionality, their invention had no competitors.

He was worried about only one exhibit - SOL-20. According to Isaacson, Jobs believed his product had the best hardware, but the SOL-20 had the best design. It was housed in a beautiful metal case, had a built-in keyboard and power supply. Compared to the Apple I, the SOL-20 looked more professional.

Naturally, SOL-20 is too outdated for today, but enthusiasts and historians can really appreciate it. At a minimum, this computer Jobs and Wozniak has inspired the creation of Apple II, whose design is significantly different from Apple's I of.
For those wishing to purchase a piece of history, the lot will be available for another 2 days.
