If you are new to Instagram or have never thought about ways to work with Stories, you will be interested in how you can react to them. And remember that this separate feed of photos and videos has only been around for 24 hours, so if you want to check in, you have to get it done quickly. How to view stories on Instagram
To view stories on Instagram, open the section with the news feed (the icon with the image of a house). If an avatar of one of the users you follow appears at the very top of this page, then a new story has appeared.
Stories will be available within 24 hours, after which they will be deleted. If you viewed the story, the circle with the user's avatar will change color from red to gray or blue.
How to reply (react) to Instagram Stories
There are several different ways to react to other people's stories. In any case, this process is very simple:
1. When you see someone's story you want to respond to, click on the message bar at the bottom. Alternatively, you can simply swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
2. Here you can choose one of five response methods:
Fast response. This option allows you to quickly react to a story with a set of pre-selected emojis that appear on your screen. Currently available emojis: tears of joy, surprise, heart-shaped eyes, crying face, applause, fire, party popper and 100.
Written message. You can send a small letter by typing it in the message line.
Postcard with photo or text. By clicking on the camera icon, you can create a colorful response with text, effects, photos, stickers, emoji, etc.
Repost history. in order to share someone's story, click on the icon with the airplane and select the users to whom you want to send the story.
How will the author of the story see the response (reaction)?
No matter how you react to the story, the actions will be displayed to its creator, as a direct message in Direct. This means that the author can like your reaction, as well as respond, thereby continuing the interaction.
