FORMcard is a small size bioplastic card that can be shaped to any shape after being soaked in hot water. You can use them, for example, to repair tools or create simple toys for children.
Nowadays, when the words "fix" and "repair" are rapidly disappearing from the everyday lexicon, the appearance of such things as FORMcard is especially timely. These compact records that fit in a wallet will allow you to cope with any small but annoying nuisance in the blink of an eye, be it a broken handle on a screwdriver or a torn off keychain on a zipper.
The FORMcard project was launched on Kickstarter in November 2015 and in just three weeks managed to raise the necessary amount to launch mass production. And by January 2016, the creators managed to raise an amount 8 times higher than originally planned.
FORMcard is a completely non-toxic bioplastic made on a starch base. In order to soften the plate, you just need to immerse it in a container of hot water. Then you can give the material the desired shape. The records can be reused. There are several card colors to choose from.
