The developers of Rockstar Games once again surprised the public by releasing in 2013 an excellent ported game that is fun and easy to play. All the games in the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) series are easy to play on both iPhone and iPad screens. There are no special complaints about the controls, interface and graphics in general. It seems that GTA just stepped over to iOS without visible losses and San Andreas is no exception.

For the third part of the series, the creators have prepared three control options for the touch screen. There is a virtual joystick, buttons or swipes. In addition, the application has support for third-party controllers, which is even more convenient to play with.

iOS got the same graphics that computers and consoles rendered 10-15 years ago. Is that on iPhone 4S and iPad 2 not so deep rendering of shadows and effects. Comfortable play on old devices is not guaranteed, with a large concentration of moving objects there may be slowdowns. The authors squeezed the maximum to capture the largest possible audience of players. In confirmation of this and very modest requirements for iOS, it must be older than iOS 6.0!

The price of 529 rubles for this kind of game is quite reasonable. Of course, this is not 379 rubles, which were asked for each of the predecessors, but also not a reason to panic.

Having finished with the technical aspects, let's move on to the gaming ones. It goes without saying that the plot of San Andreas for iOS does not differ from the original. This approach has caused some controversy. Some would like to see an alternative parallel history intersecting with the main one shown to us nine years ago. Others wanted a genuine match in order to re-receive the emotions from the passage. Perhaps, and I would like not to know how the passage of San Adreas ends. It would be more interesting to play on the side of another clan or, in general, to look at the confrontation of the gangs in the shoes of some corrupt cop, from time to time intersecting with CJ and his team.

Let's go back to San Andreas. Everything is clear with the plot and characters in the game, the correspondence with the original is one hundred percent. But the management was slightly abolished. Gone are the slow walk and squat buttons. The first ability has not disappeared, you need to keep the position of the virtual manipulator not to the maximum, but less than the average.

But CJ does not always succeed in squatting and squatting on iOS. To duck, you need to double-click down on the virtual joystick, but it somehow does not work quite correctly.

Riding motorcycles and bicycles has not become more difficult. You can easily lift the iron horse and ride on the rear wheel. You can shoot forward or to the sides, as in previous games in the series. Airplane and helicopter control is not difficult. It took me longer to get these skills playing San Andreas on a computer than it took to get used to touch controls.

Mini-games are implemented beyond praise. Simulators, slot machines, billiards, dances and swaying cars are not difficult and easy to pass. To some, they may even seem too simplistic. Other professions (firefighter, medic, thief, machinist, policeman, taxi driver, truck driver) are not difficult to learn, and are activated by a special button in the corresponding vehicle.

Conversations in San Andreas on iOS are also easy. A window appears at the top with the possibility of a positive or negative answer. So you can talk to night butterflies or hire guys to your squad. Sometimes it happens that the dialog box comes off just when you walk past passers-by. In this case, neither positive nor negative answers affect anything.

The translation in the game has also changed. Dialogues have become more human and filled with meaning. Those who played San Andreas on PC and consoles will miss the "chilled carbon fiber" and the "Spent" sign that amused every time the hero died.

The game saves are also worth mentioning. Added automatic saves in the process of passing missions. They are not stumbled every few meters, but sometimes they save you from routine passage before the start of the task or drive from the place of the nearest save. If the mission fails, it is always suggested to start it over. Sometimes this function doesn't work. It happens that the game is saved immediately after the message "Mission failed" appears, in which case returning to the save does not help, in these situations you have to go through the mission first.

As for the global save in the houses purchased by CJ, there is a small bonus. Two cloud slots allow you to play San Andreas on multiple devices. At the time of saving, you need to be connected to the Network, then the save will be placed on the server. Similarly, at the beginning of the game on another iDevice, you need to go online to see the save in the cloud. It all works quite simply. There is no connection to Apple ID or iCloud, everything is stored in your Cocial Club account (this is a resource dedicated to all games in the GTA series). It is created in a matter of minutes and is needed only by those who periodically play on different devices and do not want to transfer the save manually.

Bad news for cheat lovers. Passcode support is disabled on iOS. But the excellent opportunity to listen to your music on the radio in transport has not been lost. To do this, you need to create a playlist in the player called GTASA, after starting the game, a new radio station MIXTAPE will appear.
