Most recently, we told you how to manually change the Unlock label on the unlock slider for iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. Today we are pleased to bring to your attention an alternative way to change the text on the device slider. SlideToMod is a new tweak for IOS 5 that can easily handle this task.

Apart from changing the text, SlideToMod also has several other options. It can insert time or date on the slider, and hide some lockscreen elements, including the camera button.
Moreover, you can even hide the slider and thus prevent unlocking the screen, but be careful! As the developer notes, if you have not configured the Activator function for alternative unlocking of the device, you may not return to the main screen.
All these functions are available from the Settings application on your device. The nice thing is that each setting takes effect immediately without the Respring procedure.
Read here how to change the color of the slider.
No stability issues were found in SlideToMod.
The SlideToMod tweak is available for free in the ModMyi repository in Cydia.
