
The developers of UAB Pixelmator have pleased with the update to version 3.1 of their popular graphics editor - Pixelmator. The new version of the application is fully optimized to work with the new Mac Pro. In addition, the application has added support for 16-bit per channel images and dual graphics processing units (GPUs).

So, the application can now fully utilize all the Mac Pro hardware it needs, and image processing has become better and faster. The developers of UAB Pixelmator state that "image processing will now be truly organic, and even working with large and complex compositions, the application performance will increase significantly."

Pixelmator co- developer Saulius Dailide stated:

The app has also added the Order Prints feature, giving the user the ability to order postcards, notebooks, frame collections or posters directly from Pixelmator.
The previous update of the application, in which the image processing engine was updated, was released in October 2013.
An update to Pixelmator 3.1 is available for users who have previously used the application absolutely free. New users can download the program from the App Store for 979 rubles.
