An unknown man left the child to his wife. Time passed, and now the grown-up boy is forced to run away from very agile guards. Our hero jumps from roof to roof, climbs vines and stairs. Isn't it a classic 2D platformer? But all this is just an extended prologue to the most interesting.

Escaping from pursuit, our hero got into a tower in the center of Teslagrad. And here it is already possible not to rush - the pursuers are hopelessly behind. We find ourselves in an amazing place in the Kingdom of Electropia, in which a certain scientific genius created a whole labyrinth of traps, mechanisms and electrical machines. Our path lies through a set of puzzles, each of which can be deadly. Fortunately, checkpoints are scattered along the way in abundance. We'll have to remember physics, because most of the mysteries are associated not only with magnetism, but also with gravity and electricity. Do you remember that different poles attract, and the same ones repel?

Don't wait for clues - you'll have to find them. It's good that the game generously reveals both its plot and options for passing with the help of paintings on the walls, sculptures and even puppet shows. The player is given the opportunity to think out for himself what it all means, and what is the hidden meaning in it. But this is not difficult to do. Teslagrad skillfully intrigues, allowing you to solve the mysteries yourself. And there are a lot of secrets in the form of scrolls in the castle, they are really needed to complete the game. So we do not expect any titles - we turn on observation and imagination!

The traps and riddles get complicated quickly. It is easy to fall into a stupor, over and over again wasting lives and returning to trying to overcome the obstacle. It is not enough to understand what exactly needs to be done. As in any platformer, in Teslagrad you also have to accurately verify the movements of the character. Boss battles follow the same logic. Teslagrad will not allow you to rest your reflexes.

Quite often you will have to think over a whole combination of actions for the sake of passing a really difficult place. But then how much happiness from the work done! But developing the right strategy will have to regularly pay with your lives. The game allows you to freely travel around the tower, returning to difficult places. Sometimes it is interesting to go through them again with the help of useful artifacts found. Of course, this is not an invisibility hat or a flying carpet, but something pseudo-scientific: gloves, a hood, a wand. The map will help you not to get confused, it is the only, perhaps, additional interface element.

The game migrated to iOS and Android from PC, where it showed excellent sales. The mobile version retains the same "warm" artistic graphics. But she still seems gloomy. But on the other hand, it gives a better manifestation of electric effects and magnetic fields. Helps to recreate the atmosphere of mystery and melodic unobtrusive soundtrack.

The creators of Teslagrad were able to get away from an uncomplicated platformer and create a real puzzle puzzle game based on it, which is both dynamic and smart.
