Continuing the series of comparisons between iPhones of different models and years of release, we got to the most controversial comparison - the budget iPhone 11 in 2019 versus the flagship iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max of 2018.

Actually, even when comparing on the first point, the difficulties of choice for potential buyers begin. In turn, the iPhone XS has an OLED screen with a resolution of 2436 × 1125 pixels (iPhone XS 5.8 inches) and 2688 × 1242 pixels (iPhone XS Max 6.5 inches), in both cases, the image density reaches 458 ppi. The contrast ratio of OLED screens is noticeably higher - 1,000,000: 1, there is support for HDR, but the standard backlight brightness does not differ - 625 cd / m².

If, when comparing screens, one could safely credit a point in favor of the iPhone XS, then when comparing the processing power, the iPhone 11 already surpasses the 2018 model. The fact is that Apple for the second year in a row pleases buyers of more affordable versions of the iPhone with flagship processors. So this time, the iPhone 11 received a more efficient and energy efficient Apple A13 Bionic chip with updated graphics and a 3rd generation Neural Engine.
The presence of the same amount of RAM (4 GB) in all three reviewed smartphones, the advantage of the iPhone 11 in performance is more than obvious.
