As it turned out, not all the cool features in the new iOS 14 (a detailed overview of new features) were covered at WWDC 2020. Apple has added a new Accessibility feature to the system, which allows the smartphone to perform quick actions by responding to tapping on the back of it.

Back Tap was introduced in Accessibility preferences with the release of iOS 14. It can be used to take screenshots, instantly launch Control Center, call Siri for shortcuts, and more.
What actions can be performed on the iPhone by tapping (touching) the back of the case?
Currently, there are already 23 options for actions, including: mute the sound, show the Home screen, lock the screen, activate multitasking mode (application switcher), increase / decrease the volume, open Control Center or Notification Center, call Siri, take a screenshot, etc..d.
In addition, Tap Back works with user-created Quick Commands. The function allows you to assign one of two options for touching the body to trigger the assigned action. Both double and triple touches are available and can be used anytime, but only on an unlocked iPhone.
How to bind different actions to tapping the back of an iPhone in iOS 14
1. Launch the Settings app.
2. Go to the Accessibility section.
3. Select the Tap menu.

4. Tap Back Tap and select an action to double or triple tap the back of the iPhone.

In addition to Touch Back, iOS 14 includes other accessibility options such as FaceTime gesture detection and Headphone Customization.
