We've already introduced you to the popular Snapchat gender change effects and baby filter. Now the popular photo social network has acquired a new aging filter, Time Machine, which allows you to watch your age change from childhood, through maturity, and up to old age using swipes to the right or left.
Unlike the aging filter in the popular FaceApp, it doesn't show as many wrinkles to create an older face. The hair turns gray, the face becomes a little wider, flowing, sagging skin appears. A person looks best somewhere in the middle of the aging process. At the same time, work with both the front and rear cameras is available, which makes it possible to experiment with the appearance of other people.
Usually Snapchat pays the creators of AR filters for their platform, but this time around, the development is original. The company's interest in such unusual solutions is obvious - in its income statement for the second quarter of 2019, the company announced 7-9 million new users appeared thanks to AR filters, including viral gender. How to Make Your Own Face Aging Video on Snapchat (Child to Old Person Animation)
1. Open the Snapchat app on your phone. Make sure the program is updated to the latest version.
2. Log in using your Snapchat account or register.
3. Open the camera screen.
4. Click on the emoticon icon.
5. Using the icon with rectangular arrows in the upper right corner, select the camera to shoot (main or front).
6. On the filter panel, select the icon with the image of a child and an old face separated by a wavy line on a purple icon. If the filter is not available in the default list, then click the More button (the icon shows a magnifying glass) and type Time machine in the search box (this is the name of this filter).
7. Use the slider that appears on the screen to change your appearance according to your age.
8. When you click on the round button, the application will create a snapshot. You can take multiple photos to shape your entire life cycle.
9. To shoot a video, press and hold the round button with one hand and move the “age slider” with the other hand. Click the "Save" button to save the resulting video to the gallery of your iPhone or Android device.
