Many users of iOS devices become wildly angry when writing messages, because the iPhone or iPad independently begins to correct the words, depending on what they have in the database. And such changes are far from always correct, and at best people will understand, but some unverified proposals can generally put the sender in an awkward situation. In this article we will show you how to fix it.

How to turn off T9 (auto correction) on an iPhone or iPad
In order to turn off auto-correction (analogue of the out-of-date T9), go to Settings → General → Keyboard.

In the "All keyboards" section, move the switch opposite the "Auto-correction" item to the inactive position.

The Auto-Caps feature automatically starts a word in a new sentence with a capital letter. Spelling will underline a misspelled word in red. By clicking on such a word, you can choose one of the options offered by the dictionary.

"Predictive typing" in a special add-on above the keyboard will prompt you to quickly finish typing the current word even by one typed letter and will try to guess the next typed word.

"Shortcut key". " "Allows you to add a period by double-clicking on the space bar - a very handy feature.
